Find events
Browse by city or near you, narrow by date and price, and search for events and organizers.
In the Velvet app
- Tap the home icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the city name at the top, or Choose a city if you haven’t picked one, then choose a city, Nearby or Everywhere. Velvet remembers your choice on this phone.
- Use Date and Price to narrow the list, or Clear filters to start again.
- Tap the search icon to find events. Type at least 3 letters to see organizers and people too.
On the web
- On the home page, choose the city name, or Choose a city if you haven’t picked one. Pick a city or Anywhere, then choose Show events. Or choose Near me. Velvet remembers your choice in this browser.
- Use Date, Price or the sliders icon to narrow the list.
- Use the search icon to find events, organizers and people. Type at least 3 letters.
Nearby uses your location. The app and the website ask for it when you set up your account, or when you choose Nearby (Near me on the website). Once you’ve allowed it, they open on Nearby. Nearby shows events within about 50 km.
To find people, you need to log in. Only people with public profiles show up in search.
