Join a waitlist
Get in line when an event sells out, and what happens next.
In the Velvet app
- When every ticket is sold out, open the event and tap Join waitlist.
- Tap View waitlist options, agree to share your name with the event’s organizer, then tap Join waitlist.
- You’ll see your place in line. To leave, tap Leave waitlist.
On the web
- Log in, open the event and choose Join waitlist.
- Tick the box to agree, then choose Join waitlist.
A waitlist doesn’t hold a ticket for you, and Velvet doesn’t alert you when tickets open up. Your waitlists show when tickets are available: check back, and get them as usual.
Find your waitlists in the app under the ticket icon, then Waitlist. On the web, open My tickets, then Waitlists.
